Bloomington, Ind.

Indiana University basketball fans have already started to line up for Tuesday night’s game.

The Hoosiers will take on the Michigan State Spartans at 7 p.m. in Bloomington

Several fans gathered outside Assembly Hall Tuesday morning, anticipating the big game against the No. 1 team in the Big Ten Conference.

Head Coach Tom Crean praised the fans on his Twitter, writing “Hoosier Nation is already lining up for the game. We have the BEST STUDENTS AROUND!”

Some fans even grilled out, passing the hours until game time.  Jeremy Gray with Indiana Athletics told Fox59 pizzas were passed out at 2 p.m. to students waiting in line.

The Hoosiers are ranked No. 18 in the AP Poll and No. 20 in the USA Today/Coaches poll.  The Spartans, with a 13-3 winning record, sit at No. 5 in both polls.

The Spartans defeated the Hoosiers at MSU in late December.  However, the Hoosiers have been known to take out top teams, defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Kentucky Wildcats early in the season.
