Inhalable caffeine to be released in 2012

Each inhaler contains a total of 100 milligrams of caffeine, which is as much caffeine a large cup of coffee contains.

Looking for an instant energy boost but have no time for a cup of coffee?

Well, it could be just a puff away.

Harvard professor David Edwards created inhalable caffeine called Aeroshot.

Marketing for the product describes it as “a quick hit of caffeine that’s ready anytime, anyplace.” It acts like an inhaler and delivers flavored-puffs of caffeine.

Each inhaler contains a total of 100 milligrams of caffeine, which is as much caffeine a large cup of coffee contains. The creator says the powder is absorbed instantly.

Aeroshot will hit stores in Boston and New York in January of 2012.
