A 4-year-old girl who was injured in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident Saturday in southeastern Indiana has died.
Conservation Officer Zach Walker told Fox59 News the young girl was life lined to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
According to authorities, the 4-year-old girl was riding on the ATV with her father and her 7-year-old brother in Switzerland County, before the father lost control of the vehicle going up a small hill. The vehicle overturned, throwing all the occupants off of it.
The 7-year-old boy was not injured in the accident. The father suffered broken ribs.
Officers reported that the ATV was operating at a slow speed and none of the occupants were wearing safety equipment.
