Heavy rain and flash flooding is to blame for several street closings Tuesday morning. Fox59 News reporter Kjerstin Ramsing was live along Harding Street near I-465 on the city's southwest side, where she saw abandoned cars and even semi trucks submerged in the flood water.

Hendricks County was one of the hardest hit areas. Several streets and roads were closed, and residents in several neighborhoods were urged to leave their homes and head for higher ground. A special flash flood warning was issued after a dam along White Lick Creek was breached around 9:00 a.m.
