The family of the couple killed in the explosion on the southeast side late Saturday night is reaching out to the community for help in finding the victims' dog.

Dion and Jennifer Longworth, a Greenwood school teacher, were killed after a nearby home exploded in the Richmond Hills subdivision at approximately 11 p.m.

The Longworth family created flyers in hopes to find the couple’s missing dog Pepper.  The Golden Retriever and Collie mix dog was unaccounted for after the explosion and the victims’ family hopes the public can help locate her.

According to the flyer, the dog is spayed and has a microchip, but information in the microchip is not correct.
