An Indianapolis Colts player was arrested for drug related charges Thursday.
Police said Javarris James was arrested in Fort Myers, Florida, on a charge of possessing marijuana. Police took the 23-year-old into custody around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night.
James was released on $1,000 bond.
James is the cousin of Colts running back Edgerrin James. Javarris signed as an undrafted free agent last year.
The Colts have not commented on the charges.
