Avocado Oatmeal Facial Mask

What it does: This soothing avocado and oatmeal facial mask will draw out impurities, balance the skins ph factor,and deeply moisturizes for days after.
 
What you will need:
  • 1/4 cup of oatmeal ground into a powder ( not flour) in your blender or food processor.
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 medium or 2 small "just ripe" avocados
 What you will do:
 
Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Place avocado quartered in a medium bowl and mash until smooth. Add the honey and oatmeal powder and mix well. The mask should be smooth and pasty. You may need to make small adjustment by adding more honey or oatmeal to get the right consistency.
 
Apply to face and neck for up to 15 minutes after a 5 minute steaming with a warm wash cloth. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.  This natural skin rejuvenator will surprise you on just how well it works! It even soothes sunburns and works very well on the backs of the hands to rejuvenate and moisturize.
 
Pumpkin Facial Mask

What it does: This Pumpkin facial is perfect for all skin types, especially environmentally damaged or sensitive skin. High in Vitamin A (skin healing), C (anti-oxidant) and Zinc,  pumpkin, when mixed with pure honey,egg whites and milk will soothe,balance skin pH, and moisturize. It's anti - aging and perfect for preparing the skin for the long winter months. It is very intensive in skin renewing properties and its smells wonderful!

What you will need:
  • 1/2 cup fresh cooked or canned pumpkin ( which is high in alpha and beta hydroxyl acids that increase cell renewal and turn over)
  • one-half teaspoon honey ( super moisturizing)
  • one-quarter teaspoon milk
