The Indianapolis Colts are officially in "Luck".

The team announced Thursday they signed the first overall draft selection, quarterback Andrew Luck.

Luck’s contract is expected to be four years and worth $22 million, with the $14.5 million of it being guaranteed.  There is also a team option for a fifth year.

Colts fans may have been worried that Luck and the organization may not have agreed to a contract before the start of training camp next week, but the rookie and Colts Owner Jim Irsay never seemed to a doubt that a deal wouldn't get done soon.

The two-time Heisman Trophy finalist will be the heir to Peyton Manning's throne, attempting to fill in big shoes after the Colts parted with their 11-time Pro Bowl and Super Bowl winning quarterback during the off-season.

During Luck's junior season, Stanford finished 12-2 while playing his last game in a 41-38 overtime thriller in a loss against Oklahoma State. He finished his collegiate career having completed 713-of-1,064 passes for 9,430 yards, 82 touchdowns and 22 interceptions. Luck also netted 957 rushing yards, the most ever gained by a Stanford quarterback.

The Colts have signed eight of their 10 draft picks, including Luck, offensive guard Justin Anderson, running back Vick Ballard, wide receiver LaVon Brazill, defensive tackle Josh Chapman, linebacker Tim Fugger, quarterback Chandler Harnish and wide receiver T.Y Hilton.
