It wasn't exactly an exotic animal bonanza for state wildlife dudes at Bridgeport's Beardsley Zoo this weekend.

They were offering amnesty to any outlaw pet owners who handed over illegal animals. At the last pet amnesty day in 2009, they pulled in 14 exotics; but Saturday the count was just seven.

According to the Connecticut Post, that included two undersized alligators, two Burmese pythons, a ball python, one boa constrictor and a snapping turtle.
