Get your dialing fingers ready: with four pizza kitchens offering takeout, delivery and catering, Giove's has been a restaurant-delivery juggernaut for nearly six years, serving up delicious sandwiches and a variety of interesting pizzas to your door. One perennially popular item, says co-owner Joe Devellis, is the “loaded potato” pizza. “It's a house pizza crust, Margherita style, with a layer of mashed potatoes, garlic butter, mozzarella, cheddar, broccoli, bacon, and we put sour cream on top when it comes out of the oven,” Devellis explains. But then there's also the chicken ranch, with grilled chicken breast with creamy ranch dressing, cheddar and mozzarella and bacon, and tons of other choices, including whole-wheat and gluten-free (“the best one around,” says Devellis) crusts. The secret? “Great service,” says assistant manager and driver (in Fairfield) Ronaro Fagundes. “We are on time, 100 percent of the time. We give a 35-minute window that we meet. We get busy, but we tell the truth.
