TOLEDO, Ohio -- Right fielder Brent Clevlen, designated hitter Freddy Guzman, center fielder Clete Thomas and catcher Max St. Pierre all recorded multi-hit games as Toledo rolled to an 8-0 blanking of Indianapolis before another sellout crowd of 10,403 Thursday night at Fifth Third Field.

The Mud Hens improve to 62-51 overall and 33-26 at home, while the Indians fall to 52-61 on the season and 24-30 on the road. Toledo has now won 27 of its last 37 games against Indianapolis at Fifth Third Field.

Clevlen (4-for-5, 1 RBI), Guzman (3-for-5, 2 R, 1 RBI), Thomas (2-for-5, 1 R, 2 RBI) and Pierre (2-for-3, 1 R, 1 RBI) combined to go 11-for-18 with one double, one triple, four runs and five RBI as the Mud Hens collected 15 base knocks on the night.

Toledo scored the only run it would need in the first when Guzman, Thomas and Clevlen roped three straight singles before LF Timo Perez lifted a sacrifice fly.

The Mud Hens added three insurance runs in the fourth and four more in the sixth. Perez, SS Erick Almonte and 2B Mike Hollimon all came up with doubles in the fourth, while Thomas' two-run triple highlighted the sixth.

Toledo RHP Eddie Bonine (7.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 SO) improved to a club-best 12-2 with the win and lowered his ERA to 3.67. The 27-year-old went 8-0 with a 3.09 ERA over the first six weeks of the 2008 campaign.

Indianapolis RHP Mike Thompson (3.2 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO) fell to 2-2 with the loss.

DH Luis Ordaz (3-for-4) turned in the Tribe's only multi-hit effort, while 2B Josh Wilson (1-for-3) extended his hitting streak to a season-best eight contests.
