INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Driver Tony Kanaan has signed a long-term contract extension with Andretti Green Racing.

The new contract will keep Kanaan with the Indianapolis-based race team through the 2013 season.

The Brazilian driver has been with Andretti Green since its inception in 2003, and he's won 13 races in 94 starts. He also has an IndyCar series-record 63 top-five finishes.

Kanaan goes into this weekend's race at Kentucky in fourth place in the IndyCar standings, 118 points behind leader Scott Dixon.
