NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Chris Paul had 23 points, 15 assists, five rebounds and three steals, leading the New Orleans Hornets to a 101-96 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
David West added 26 points as the Hornets went to 6-0 in the preseason.
Troy Murphy had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Peja Stojakovic had 12 points and Morris Peterson 10 for New Orleans, which led 81-72 at the end of the third quarter.
Indiana took the lead in the fourth quarter as Hornets coach Byron Scott sat his starters, but the Hornets took control again as the starters returned.
