Deadline to Register To Vote in November Election

Today is the final day to register to vote in the November 8th election.

Voters will cast ballots for candidates for a variety of judicial and municipal offices, including offices of the mayor, and city and borough council. Also being elected are County Commissioner and school board seats.

Applicants from Pennsylvania registering for the first time, changing their address, or changing their party affiliation must have their applications postmarked, or submitted to the county board of elections by the close of business today.

Individuals applying to vote must be:

  • A citizen of the United States for at least one month before the election.
  • A resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which the individual desires to register and vote for at least 30 days before the election
  • At least 18 years of age before November 8th. 

Residents may apply in person at a county voter registration office; the state departments of Public Welfare or Health; PennDOT photo and driver license centers; Armed Forces recruitment centers; county clerk of orphan’s courts or marriage license centers; area agencies on aging; county mental health and mental retardation offices; student disability services offices of the State System of Higher Education; offices of special education in high schools; and Americans with Disabilities Act-mandated complimentary paratransit providers.

The International Vintage Guitar Collectors Association In Lancaster

The International Vintage Guitar Collectors Association are making a stop in Lancaster.
The I.V.G.C.A. will be at the Ramada Inn Lancaster, located on Lincoln Highway East through Saturday, October 15th.
Folks in the area are urged to stop by with their vintage guitars to let an expert evaluate the value of these hidden treasures.
