BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY—Judge John Cleland has set April 5th as the date to hear an argument to dismiss child sex abuse charges against Jerry Sandusky. Sandusky's lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the charges last week claiming that the evidence against his client was too vague. Defense attorney Joe Amendola is also seeking a delay in the start of the trial tentatively set for mid May. His petition also requests the prosecution to turn over more information about the alleged victims.
Sandusky, former defensive football coordinator at Penn State, is accused of sexually abusing 10 juveniles over a time span that covers more than 10 years.
