LANCASTER—Single game tickets for the 2012 Lancaster Barnstormers season will go on sale on Saturday, February 11 at 10:00 am, the earliest date in years. Tickets for all 70 regular season home games, including Opening Night and a club-record 21 fireworks shows, will be available for purchase as the Barnstormers gear up for their eighth season at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
To celebrate the occasion, club officials have planned all kinds of promotional deals and events to reward fans buying their tickets that day.
The deals extend beyond that! Anyone purchasing tickets that first day will receive a complimentary admission pass to the Ice Park at Clipper Magazine Stadium for its final weekend this winter. Pitching coach Marty Janzen and everyone's favorite bovine, Cylo, will be on hand from 10-2 to sign autographs as well.
For fans that cannot make it to the stadium in person, there is another surprise in store. For that day only, from 10 am until midnight, the Barnstormers will waive the processing fee on all online ticket purchases.
Also available for purchase that day at the stadium box office are some special package deals.
Highlighting these deals is the brand new "Playing with Fire" ticket package. For only $44 fans will receive tickets to the four most anticipated fireworks shows of the season; three themed shows plus the Fourth of July fireworks blowout, and a complimentary ticket to Opening Night on May 1. Plus, anyone purchasing a "Playing with Fire" package will be entered into a drawing to win a Kindle Fire. The winner will be announced on the 11th.
February 11th will also mark one of the final opportunities for fans to wish their sweethearts a Happy Barnstormers' Valentine's Day. For just $79, fans can receive eight ticket vouchers and the ability to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a Barnstormers game in the "All Yours" package.
Holiday and baseball season shopping will not end at the box office. The Inside Corner Team Store will be open from 10-2 as well with some great early 2012 deals. Selected polos and jackets will be on sale on a buy one, get one free basis. For headwear and other apparel items, fans purchasing three can choose a fourth for free. There will also be clearance savings on selected t-shirts.
