PIX11 viewers have already gotten a glimpse of Sam Witwer when he starred for a season on "Smallville." However, new audiences are discovering this up-and-coming talent from his SyFy show "Being Human." Each week he steams up the small screen playing the handsome, but tormented vampire Aidan.
Sam Witwer has joined the ranks of heartthrob vampires across the world as the lead (Aidan) on the SyFy hit series "Being Human" which is currently airing new episodes.
Glenview, Illinois, he made his debut into the world of film and television in a Chicago Bulls commercial.
Since then he has transitioned into Hollywood's juiciest roles and has played notable characters on "Battlestar Galactica", "Smallville", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Dexter", and lends his voice talents and likeness to Lucas Films as Galen Marek/Starkiller in the "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" video game, its sequel, and as The Son in the Mortis Trilogy on "The Clone Wars".
Most recently, he was announced as the voice of Darth Maul in the new episodes of "The Clone Wars" which begin airing in March.
Witwer's talent extends to music as well and is the lead singer of his own band, "The Crashtones". His educational background includes studies at the Julliard School of Drama, where he attended classes before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
As charming as he is handsome; Witwer has certainly fallen into the most delectable role of his career.
