Boston-born singer/songwriter/piano player Jared Lee has worked with some of the best in the business like recenlty opening for TRAIN on their summer tour. In preps for his debut EP "Falling Through Holes" available on iTunes today, Jared met up with our Kerry Drew and brought some soulful sounds to the Dunkin Donuts Studio On The Run.
Jared has spent the last few years writing and recording in studios all over the world working with a variety of talented and established writers, producers and musicians including Mike Krompass (Nelly Furtado, Nastasha Bedingfield), Brian Howes (Daughtry, BC Jean), Mark Hill (Craig David, Artful Dodger), Mike Mangini (Joss Stone, Bruce Hornsby), Track & Field (Nelly Furtado), Cliff Magness (Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson), Printz Board (Black Eyed Peas), Jeff Blue (Linkin Park), and newcomer Francois-Paul Aiche.
The culmination of these experiences has resulted in a fresh, soulful, rehearsed singer/songwriter who looks as good as he sounds. Jared Lee is the type of rare singer who combines an astounding vocal range with innovative yet soothing melodies, and inspirational lyrics. His songs depict passionate, personal life experiences and feelings, encompassing messages of pain, love, fear and hope.
