Several Brookyln junior high school students are being investigated for throwing trash and several baseballs into the September 11th memorial while on a field trip.
The students were visiting the site from Junior High 292 in Brooklyn, when some of the kids were scene tossing the objects into the 9/11 memorial reflecting pools.
The NYPD also reportedly caught one student who tried to bring ammuntion through the site’s metal detector.
Many were angered by the students’ actions and want justice as a result. "These kids just need to be educated about what happened at the site, and if I had been at the site and I had seen that, I guarantee you I would have pulled them aside and explained to them why it was there and who my brother John was," said Athoula Kastinatides, whose brother died in the attack, told Fox News.
