BRONX, N.Y. - Jets and Giants fans can probably agree on one thing, eating right is a healthy game plan.

New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs joined Jets running back Leon Washington at Christopher Columbus High School on Tuesday to talk to students about the importance of eating right and exercising regularly.

The NFL, along with the American Dairy Association, the Dairy Council, and the NYC Office of School Food sponsored a contest in November to encourage kids to take advantage of nutritionally balanced school meals. Christopher Columbus High took on the challenge showing the greatest increase in meal participation among the participating schools.

By winning the competition, students got the opportunity to hang out with two of the NFL's premier stars.

"When kids are well nourished," said Andrea Thompson, Vice President of School Marketing for the Dairy Association, "they have a better track record for learning in the classroom."
