Australian newspapers are reporting that Heath Ledger's estate will all go to his two year-old daughter, Matilda Rose.
The late actor who used to reside in Brooklyn's Boerum Hill, died after an accidental prescription drug overdose back in January in a Soho loft. Since Ledger signed his will in 2003 before his daughter was born, he left everything to his parents and three sisters.
Michelle Williams would lodge a claim for the money, but according to the Ledger family, there has been no challenge from Williams.
The Australian newspaper, The Sunday Times quoted Ledger's father, Kim Ledger as saying " Our family has gifted everything to Matilda."
Matilda Rose will inherit assets and cash that amount up to $118,000 and an estate that is believed to be worth more than 16.3 million.
This comes on the heels of a lawsuit against the insurance company that wrote Ledger's $10-million life insurance brought fourth by a trustee for Matilda.
According to lawyers, the ReliaStar Life Insurance Company is being sued over failure to promptly pay the claim
