Emmy Award winner and funny woman Judy Gold has returned to the stage in The Judy Show - My Life As A Sitcom at the DR2 Theater.
Judy is the mother of two sons, has a girlfriend who is a therapist, and a mother lives in a nursing home in New Jersey. All of this continues to provide Judy with endless material. Judy lives in a 950 square foot apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with one bathroom, and being that she is 6'3'', she don't fit in the bathtub.
Judy's show, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother ran Off-Broadway, won the GLAAD Media Award, received a Drama Desk Nomination, became a book and went on tour.
The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom started its life at the 2010 Williamstown Festival and takes the audience on a hilarious journey through Judy's life with a little help from classic television sitcoms. How often do we all say that our lives are like a television show?
