Rhythm and Blues music always gave a bluesy feeling and was good for dancing. Television shows like "American Bandstand," "Hullabalou" and "Shidig" always featured people dancing the latest craze on camera to Rhythm and Blues, and "Motown" gave them a lot to dance about. Records by groups like "Smokey Robinson and the Miracles," "The Supremes," "The Temptations," "Stevie Wonder" and "The Jackson Five" were a necessity at any soul party. Other groups like "Sly and the Family Stone," "The Stylistics," "The Delfonics" and "James Brown" helped to personify what soul and RandB were all about. Pianist / Vocalist James Jones leads us down the Soul Train in an evening of delightful Rhythm and Blues songs.
