PIX11's Tamsen Fadal talked to native New Yorker Cristina Ehrlich, who made the switch from pro dancer to stylist, about her career and latest role as style spokesperson for Via Spiga. She has also created signature looks for someof Hollywood`s finest, including Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Penelope Cruz, and Amy Adams to name a few.
Born in New York City, Cristina Ehrlich became bi-coastal at a young age, spending her youth in Los Angeles and returning to New York to study dance at NYU. Growing up with a mother who was a showroom model and interior designer, and a grandfather who was a clothing designer, Cristina was innately drawn to visual expression, and inspired by travel, dance, fashion and the European culture. Upon graduating from NYU, she traveled to Europe to continue her dance studies and eventually landed back in Los Angeles. She danced professionally until the age of 27, and retired to pursue her other love, fashion.
Cristina's style philosophy is defined by classic, chic, and timeless sensibility with a modern edge.
