New York City police have arrested six people in a drug bust who are accused of selling cocaine out of John's Pizza & Heros located at 1788 Westchester Avenue.
Investigators said the gang often times concealed the powerful drug in pizza boxes and even offered their customers the option of delivery or takeout. Nearly 20 pounds of cocaine, $20,000 in cash and four guns were seized from the pizza place when it was raided by cops Tuesday, according to investigators.
Special narcotics prosecutor Bridget Brennan said it appears the criminals also packaged varying amounts of cocaine at the pizzeria. They also used at least four stash houses, all of which were within walking distance of the pizza parlor and were reportedly used for wholesale to New York and Connecticut drug dealers.
