Actor Colin Egglesfield plays Jennifer Love Hewitt's hunky brother-in-law on "The Client List" and women are starting to take note. He's being called a hotter, younger Tom Cruise.

Most recently Colin has appeared in the film "Something Borrowed" oppossite Kate Hudson and on "Melrose Place" on the CW.

Egglesfield can next be seen in the independent features A Stranger in Paradise opposite Stuart Townsend and Open Road starring Andy Garcia and Juliette Lewis. His other credits include the comedy Life Happens with Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson and Geoff Stults, S.W.A.T., Must Love Dogs, Beautiful Dreamer and The Good Guy.

Egglesfield got his big break on the hit daytime drama All My Children, where he played "Josh" for three seasons. He then went on to appear on a variety of television shows such as Hawaii 5-0, Brothers & Sisters, The CW's reboot of Melrose Place, Law & Order, Nip/Tuck and The WB's series Gilmore Girls and Charmed.

Prior to acting, Egglesfield modeled around the world, walking runways in Milan, New York and Paris and being featured in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Versace and Calvin Klein. 


Egglesfield has also created a customizable t-shirt company called Shout Out!, which allows people to create changeable messages on their shirts. He uses Shout Out! as a vehicle to support and promote educational initiatives such as Project Grad and Stay in School campaigns. In his spare time, Egglesfield helps raise money for the non-profit organizations Team for Kids, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. He has also tutored high school students at The Door Youth Center in lower Manhattan and is active in book readings at Los Angeles schools.

Egglesfield currently resides in Los Angeles.
