Supermodel Coco Rocha carries around the moniker "The Queen of Posing" for her ability to do more than a hundred poses in a minute (It is rumored she may be going for a Guinness World Record.). The stunning redhead recently appeared on "America's Next Top" for a photo shoot with the contestants and it got it little crazy when model Bree started screaming wildly. It Coco was phased by this psychotic model moment, she didn't show it. The consummate professional went about her business of posing.
When Coco isn't smiling for the camera, she supports many charitable organizations. Her film "Letters to Haiti" benefits LakayPAM (my home when translated from Creole) which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping poor children meet their basic needs: shelter, food, medical care, and education. "Letters to Haiti" documents Rocha's trip to Haiti a year after the devastating earthquake. It was filmed by her husband James Conran.
Her jewelry line Coco Rocha for Senhoa also raises funds for charity. Each piece of the collection is handcrafted by survivors of exploitation in Cambodia. These newly skilled artisans have been taught the trade of high-end jewelry-making and now use their talents to support themselves and their families. Proceeds from the sale of each piece go to fund Senhoa's community development projects, which provide income-generating opportunities, and aid in the rescue, rehabilitation, and education of young women in South East Asia.
