A Long Island
bus driver is in police custody after authorities say he kissed a middle school student he was driving home from school.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident occurred on Nov. 19 when 73-year-old Michael Dibella, an employee of Huntington Coach Corporation, was driving middle school students home from the Elwood
Dibella, of East Northport
, is accused of pulling the bus over when only one 11-year-old girl remained on the bus. He then allegedly sat next to the young girl, grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips several times.
The victim was then taken home where she told her mother what had occurred. Her mother then alerted police.
Dibella was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
