New York City, shortly after a whistle-blower in the case testified at a hearing before lawmakers in Washington. Harry Markopolos told the lawmakers that he saw funds were being relayed to Madoff in Europe, and he was concerned managers of the so-called "feeder" funds may have been ignoring signs of a massive fraud scheme.
