Jason Aldean is hoping to score his 12th #1 single with “Night Train,” but that was almost not the case! He admits that the song was not even meant to be on his latest album – let alone the title-track!
He said, “I was listening for another artist, and they weren’t really feeling the song. Well the more I listened to it, the more I ended up loving the song – and counting it for my record. It’s just funny because that was a song that really wasn’t meant for me, my record or anything.”
Fans will get the chance to watch Jason upcoming concert DVD, Night Train to Georgia, before they can buy it. A live streaming even will happen on Jason’s Facebook page on October 14th – the day before the big release.
Jason Aldean is the latest artist to converse about the state of country music. Zac Brown first told a radio station in Canada Luke Bryan’s new single “That’s My Kind of Night” is the “worst song he’s ever heard.”
The Zac Brown Band front man then clarified on Twitter that his “opinion is not about Luke as an artist.” Jason took to Instagram on Tuesday night to speak out in favor of his friend Luke. He said, “To those people runnin their mouths, trust me when i tell u that nobody gives a s--t what u think,” Jason added, “It’s a big ol hit so apparently the fans love it which is what matters. Keep doin ur thing LB!!!” So far no word from Luke or his camp on the issue.
