Jason Aldean is taking his fans back to 1994, and some of his fellow country music peers too! The singer has released “1994” as the follow-up smash to his #1 hit “The Only Way I Know,” and Jason has been tweeting stars like Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley, to share a picture of them from that year. Jason recalls what he was up to in during that time, and why Joe Diffie will be in your head after listening to his new song!
“You know I graduated high school in 1995, so ’94 I was playing little clubs in my hometown and playing all the songs that were on the radio at the time and Joe Diffie was one of those guys, I mean he had a lot of hits back then, he was all over the radio.”
Jason will be playing his new single for fans tonight (2/21), as he kicks off his highly anticipated 2013 Night Train Tour. Thomas Rhett – who is a co-writer on “1994” – andJake Owen will serve as opening acts, and they kick things off in Bossier City, Louisiana tonight.
