Tips for Your Next Tailgating Party
Tailgating is all about food, friends and sports! Once you have made your list to include the food and drinks that will be served, invited friends and the big essential items (from chairs to table), make a second list of all the things you may not normally think about taking. Having these items on hand can prevent an "uh oh" moment.
To make your party more festive have your favorite team's banner or flags flying (well, maybe this should go on your main list!)
With so many vehicles now having AC plugs in them, extension cords and power strips will keep you powered up until game time and beyond.
If you are on battery power, be sure to have extras available.
Have a tool kit along in case of a mishap.
Speaking of mishaps, a first aid kit is a must, and sunscreen too!
A good tailgater cleans up their trash, leaving the area nice and tidy. Bring trash bags or even a receptacle with a lid as late season
bees and flies love to party too.
Be sure to designate a bag for recyclables as well.
Don't forget napkins, paper towels along with hand sanitizer and surface cleaning wipes.
You will want to have a cork screw and bottle opener to get those beverages open!
Ice for drinks.
Other handy items are toothpicks and a lighter or matches.
Blankets for chilly days.
And always have enough food, drink and fun to share. You may find some people in the parking lot who want to join your party!
