Blue-Banana Smoothie
In blender, puree until smooth: 8 ounces 2% milk (or your favorite type), 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1 pitted date.
NOTE: Add ice if you’d like a thicker consistency.
Popcorn Trail Mix
Combine: 2 cups air-popped popcorn, 2 Tablespoons raisins, 2 Tablespoons mixed nuts.
Banana Creme Pie Parfait
Layer: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 banana (sliced), 1 crunchy granola bar (crushed into small pieces).
Pita Nachos:
Cut 1 whole grain pita into triangles, mist with cooking spray and broil until crisp, about 3 minutes. Top baked pita chips with 1/4 cup canned low-fat refried black beans (warmed), 2 tablespoons salsa and 2 tablespoons guacamole.
