Use items you can dry from your garden, like twigs vines or dried flowers, for an affordable and simple arrangement. Dried material is also available at your local craft store. I like to use dried grasses, Lotus Pods, Mahogany Pods, Eucalyptus, Protea, Yarrow and Palm Flowers.
Keep in mind that you can re-use dried natural materials beyond fall and Halloween and into holiday and winter. You can even give something a quick spray or coat of paint to change up the seasonal style.
Explore the many types of pumpkins and gourds that are out there. Your local garden center or farmer's market probably has many of the more unusual varieties.
