Easter cookies available at Panera through April 8. Proceeds are going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Cookie Decorating Tips:
In order to roll out the dough you must flour the board, the dough and the rolling pin to avoid the dough sticking to everything.
When rolling the dough with the pin use the weight of your body to roll, not the force of the pin.
When using the cookie cutter, flour it as well to avoid sticking.
A little water can be used to thin out the frosting whenever it gets too thick, but be careful not to add too much water This will make the frosting runny and difficult to use.
A small spatula or plastic knife are perfect tools for spreading thick icing. A paint brush can be used for the neat application of a thin glaze.
Place any desired toppings, such as chocolate candies or sprinkles, on the cookie immediately after applying the icing so that they adhere as it dries.
