"It probably wasn't even a dream; it was one of my wildest dreams. I don't think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day. So I am utterly humbled and grateful," said Aniston told Reuters at the ceremony.
"She prayed for three things: to have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her hair, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here," Sandler said, accoring to the Reuters report.
Aniston and boyfriend Theroux shared their very first public kiss at the ceremony yesterday. The couple met while shooting "Wanderlust" and has been dating for about eight months.
Aniston got her breakthrough as Rachael Green in "Friends," giving her five Emmy nominations and $1 million per episode for the tenth season. After her TV career, Aniston focused on feature films resulting in movies such as "The Break-Up," "The Switch," "Horrible Bosses," and most recently "Wanderlust."
"Wanderlust," which opens in the U.S. Friday, is a story about a Manhattan couple experimenting with different kinds of living options. Starring: Aniston, Paul Rudd, Malin Akerman, Kathryn Hanh and Justin Theroux.
