It took 90 minutes for the jury to sentence Barry Ferguson to life without parole, says Dwight Doskey who called the sentence a victory and said the jury realized Ferguson had a substance abuse problem.

Prosecutors are also calling the sentence a victory. Prosecutor Mary Glass says she is very pleased with the verdict however she says it's a shame the jury didn't get to hear all the evidence. She says Ferguson has abused other children in the past.

One of the biggest victims in the case, Brandy's mother, Loretta Lynn Gillman, says she has justice and now her daughter can rest in peace.
