Chris Paul scored 16 points and handed out 15 assists as the Hornets beat the TImberwolves Friday night, 98-89.
It was the first game for Paul in exactly three weeks after suffering a severely sprained ankle in a home game against Portland.
The Hornets trailed by two at the half, but then outscored Minnesota 28-16 in the third quarter.
Devin Brown led the Hornets with 19 points. Emeka Okafor
and David West scored 17 each for the Hornets.
