New Orleans—Saints starting cornerback Tracy Porter doesn't need season ending knee surgery.
Head coach Sean Payton said Porter has an MCL sprain of the left knee.
Porter was injured on the first play from scrimmage of the third quarter of Sunday's 28-23 win at St Louis. He collided with Usama Young as the pair were attempting a tackle.
Payton said he "doesn't have a timeframe" on Porter's return.
