guard Eric Gordon
has now scored the winning points in two of the three games he has played this season.
Gordon hit two free throws with 2.1 seconds to play as the Hornets beat Denver 94-92 Wednesday night at New Orleans Arena. Gordon scored 15 points in 39 minutes of play.
Wednesday night's game was the first for Gordon in three months. He suffered a knee injury that later required surgery. Gordon was the centerpiece in the blockbuster preseason deal that sent Chris Paul
to the Clippers.
A three pointer from Denver's Al Harrington
tied the game with 10 seconds to play. Gordon then drove the lane and forced a foul by Aaron Afflalo.
6 Hornets scored in double figures.
