Peyton Manning threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns as Denver routed the Saints 34-14 Sunday night.

The Saints defense, ranked last in the league, allowed 530 total yards.

The Saints defense allowed touchdown drives of 98 yards in the first quarter, and 93 yards in the third quarter.

The Saints offense was held in check. Drew Brees remained winless in 5 trips to Mile High Stadium. Brees threw a 29 yard touchdown pass to Darren Sproles and a late fourth quarter touchdown pass of 18 yards to Jimmy Graham. Brees completed 22 of 42 passes for 213 yards.

Manning, a New Orleans native, broke a 7-7 tie with a 13 yard second quarter touchdown pass to Eric Decker. The Broncos would run off 27 consecutive points.

Denver rushed for 225 yards.

The Saints, 2-5, play Philadelphia next Monday night at the Superdome.
