BILOXI, MS—An 18-month-old girl died from hyperthermia after being left in a car for seven hours, according to Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove.
The child, Esther Tsang, was pronounced dead on arrival at Biloxi Regional Medical Center on Tuesday evening at 5:49 pm. Esther is the daughter of Dr. Brian and Mrs. Tsang of Biloxi.
Biloxi Police Chief John Miller said, "We are continuing to investigate and do not expect any foul play. The child was left in the car at the now closed Gulf Coast Medical center on DeBuys Road."
Hargrove said he is working with Biloxi Police as the investigation continues.
