Entergy New Orleans customers should expect to see a slight increase in their bills next month. The rate increase averages to about $1.36 per person, but the company said it couldn't continue waiting for the New Orleans City Council to make a decision on a request made back in May.

Entergy points out rates have decreased over the last four years, and it's possible this increase could be rebated to customers after negotiations are complete with city council.
