February 21--Garfield Farm Museum is having Maureen Little of Pigeon Hollow Farm speak on commercial signs that are now valuable relics of cultural history. The lecture titled, "Collecting Folk-Art; The Trade Sign" will explore the history and different types of Trade Signs. It will also touch on where you can find these great pieces of Americana.

There is a $6 donation for this lecture and refreshments will be provided. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the museum at (630) 584-8485 or info@garfieldfarm.org.

Garfield Farm Museum is located 5 miles west of Geneva, IL, off of Illinois Rt. 38 on Garfield Road. Garfield Farm is a former historically intact 1840s prairie farmstead and teamster inn that is being restored as a working 1840s farm.
