Wintry mix possible for evening commute

Another "clipper" system is forecast to sweep through the Northeast on Thursday and could bring a dusting of wintry precipitation or rain for the evening commute in parts of Maryland. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Carroll County and western Howard County from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. A mix of rain, snow and sleet is expected, with snow accumulations of no more than an inch and a slight glaze of ice possible, according to the National Weather Service.
