Lemon Dippers by Joyce Gordon

Ingredients:
1 can of grands buttermilk biscuits
1 tbsp.of melted margarine
3 tbsp. of granulated sugar
1 tbsp of lemon sprinkles or 1 tsp lemon zest

 
Melt margarine, mix in sugar and lemon sprinkles or zest.
 
Cut the biscuits in 4 pieces and roll in the mixture.
 
Bake for 13 minutes at 350 degrees.

 

Ingredients for topping:
3/4 cup of confectioner sugar
juice of half a lemon
1 tsp lemon zest


Mix the icing and spread on the bites while warm.
Serve with lemon pie filling for a dip.
 
Variation:
1 tablespoon of margarine, 3 tbsp of gran sugar, 1 tsp of cinnamon
roll pieces of biscuit in cinnamon mixture, bake 13 min at 350 degrees.
 
Icing:
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix  and spread over warm Cinn. bites
 
Great to have with coffee, or for holidays, or tailgating.
