It was homecoming night at William Bryd as the Terriers looked for their 3rd consecutive win.  Alleghany had other ideas though.

Late in the first quarter, Byrd's Zach Hill keeps it up the right side for Coach Highfill and gets in for the 13 yard touchdown, and the Terriers jumped on top 7 to nothing.

The Mountaineers answered on a big third down conversion.  Seth Bradley connects with Kendall Kessinger for 25 yards to move the chains.

Bradley finished off the drive on the three yard keeper up the gut.  Just like that it was 7-all early in the second quarter.

Hill and Byrd were back at it just a few minutes later.  He fakes to the tailback and keeps his legs moving, getting to the outside and check out the nice piece of running.  He scoots 30 yards on the touchdown to put his team back in front 14-7.

But Bradley and Kessinger would hook up again.  This time it's another big gain, all the way down to the 12 yard line of Byrd.

Two plays later Casey Walker punched it in for the Mountaineers, but the point after was no good, keeping it at 14-13.  The Terriers hung on down the stretch to knock off Alleghany 41 to 25.
