Annapolis man sentenced on drug distribution charges

An Annapolis man was sentenced Wednesday to more than seven years in federal prison following a plea agreement on drug distribution charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett sentenced Shawn Anthony Pollard, 35, to 92 months in prison on charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. Bennett also sentenced him to three years of supervised release. Pollard pleaded guilty last April.
