Charles Hashagen, NCEON vice president, dies at 85

Charles Hashagen would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. Then he'd give you his belt and shoes. That's how Bob Chance, owner of Carol's Western Wear in Glen Burnie, remembers his friend. Hashagen, vice president of the North County Emergency Outreach Network, died Sunday at Baltimore Washington Medical Center from organ failure related to pneumonia. He was 85. "I can't think of anybody or anything that anybody can say against him," Chance said. "He was one heck of a nice guy."
