All-Star Lowsman Banquet

Irrelevant Week Chief Executive Melanie Fitch promised a fun, focused evening at the All Star Lowsman Banquet on July 3 at the Newport Beach Marriott to honor the 37th Mr. Irrelevant, Chandler Harnish. And she delivered along with the help of a dozen or so friends who coordinated a silent auction and 16 celebrity roasters!

While Harnish was picked last in the recent NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts, the celebrities — led by master of ceremonies John Robinson, former USC head football coach — kept the evening positive and upbeat for Harnish.

Former Ram QB Vince Ferragamo gave Chandler Jim Everett's No. 11 jersey, while he sent his own jersey on to Andrew Luck, the first man picked in the NFL draft.

Newport Beach Council member Mike Henn noted that he, too, graduated from North Illinois University. Former USC QB Paul McDonald presented Harnish with the Commissioner's Watch, while former USC running back Sam Cunningham presented him with the Lowsman Trophy.
